Artificial Insemination (AI) is the process of collecting sperm cell from Male (Bull) and manually depositing into the reproductive tract of female. This technology is way traditional process of insemination, as every technology is associated with its own drawback. Likewise, the conventional process also holds few drawbacks.
Despite of having number of Veterinarians and Veterinary Supervisors we are still not getting better results through artificial insemination and Calf Number is making us worried about same. Problem 1: Damage during Diagnosis!!
In past and present situation for Uterus diagnosis in cattle is done by traditional hand insertion method. During this process, there are major chances of entering into the large intestine and cause bleeding. Whereas, through unhygienic practice like the cattle dung entering on or inside the cattle vaginal route, if no precaution taken the dung enters the Uterus and acts as a site of infection.
Problem 2: Failure in Semen Thawing process!!
The crucial step on thawing of semen straw is being taken very carelessly largely due to ignorance, tiredness, unavailability of thermometer, irresponsibility, anxiety and over confidence. This is a direct and serious consequences, which are observed on the farmers and directly favors the failure of insemination and so on.
The Scientific solution for the failures:
This AI kit comprises of two patented products namely iVetscope and Digital Frozen Semen Thawing System (DFSTS). The iVetscope acts a guided insemination equipment built with a focused camera, which digitally transmits the image to the receiver end like mobile screen. This technology helps the inseminator in three ways 1. To deposit the semen at exact location (Cervix). 2. To prevent the inseminator from damaging the sensitive parts during the insemination with the sharp edged AI gun. 3. Most importantly, not missing the heat cycle of the cattle.
